Description
We present natural clove bud essential oil for perfumery, obtained from Syzygium aromaticum. In international practice, the product is designated as Clove bud natural essential oil for perfumery. The product is obtained by steam distillation of the flower buds of the plant. The distillation separates the volatile constituents of the flower bud and gives the finished oil a pure aromatic profile. The aromatic profile carries a strong and sharp olfactory character. The character combines a sweet and astringent base, on which a clearly perceptible fruity note stands out. The fruity note comes from the bud of a tree of the botanical family Myrtaceae, whose species develop oil glands and flowers with numerous stamens. The flowers remain closed when the buds are harvested, as the unopened bud retains the densely accumulated volatile substances of the tree before the corolla opens. The tree grows in plantations on the territory of Bulgaria under natural cultivation. The plantations yield the flower mass from which the raw material for the product comes. Natural cultivation keeps the plant tissue pure, so the composition of the finished oil comprises only the substances separated from the flower bud during the extraction itself. The composition remains entirely natural, and in addition it contains no preservatives or colourants. The composition forms a liquid and easily flowing mass. The mass shows a clear to pale yellow tone, which derives from the light inner tissue of the bud used. The pale tone persists throughout the entire depth of the liquid, and clove oil remains uniform in appearance.

Application
Clove, Syzygium aromaticum, is a classic oriental component in perfumery, valued for its warm spicy aroma with deep woody notes. The essential oil is used as a heart note and base note in compositions with an oriental, spicy and woody character, contributing warmth, depth and complexity to the perfume pyramid. It is included in the creation of men's, unisex and niche fragrances, oriental and amber type formulas, gourmand and floral-spicy blends and evening fragrances with a sensual atmosphere. The oil balances sweet and resinous notes, gives longevity and character to autumn and winter fragrances and adds a mystical, sensual base. Storage

Store natural clove bud essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for perfumery products, preferably of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for perfumery from light. Close tightly after each use so that air and moisture do not penetrate. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
